			5.1 Accept the Initial Proposal for Reopening Negotiations Presented by the Association of Coronado Teachers to the Coronado Unified School District (Action)

Background Information:
In accordance with the requirements of Government Code Section 3547, the Association of Coronado Teachers (ACT) hereby gives notice of ACT's initial proposal to reopen collective bargaining with the Coronado Unified School District for the 2018-2019 school year. This proposal is listed for public comment.

Demand to Bargain/Consult - Implementation of Common Core State Standards LCAP Plan- Please be advised that the Coronado Teacher's Association, as the exclusive bargaining agent, hereby demands to bargain and consult on any proposed changes, as well as any impacts or effects that may results, prior to the implementation of any change relating to the Common Core State Standard and the LCAP.

No cost for presenting proposals. Final result of negotiations is unknown at this time.
