In order to comply with EDC § 47612.5 and BP 6112, which requires 64,800 minutes of instruction in grades nine to twelve, Coronado High School will need to adopt a new bell schedule for the 2020-2021 school year. Additionally, the vision and priorities of the new CHS bell schedule must include: (1) compliance with the existing collective bargaining agreement; (2) budget impact;
(3) student flexibility, remediation and acceleration; and (4) increase college and career readiness. A comprehensive presentation of possible bell schedules will be provided during the March 12th Board Meeting. |
