5.1  Authorize a Positive District Certification of the Second Interim Budget for the Period Ending January 31, 2020  (Action)
 

Background Information:

During the fiscal year, there are two interim periods to review the budget; the first ending October 31, 2019, and the other ending January 31, 2020. This report will certify that the Coronado Unified School District will be able to meet its financial obligations for the current fiscal year and two subsequent fiscal years.

 

SACS Forms (the report furnished to the State Department of Education) are provided under separate cover and are available for review on the CUSD website, under Business Services.

Financial Impact:
The financial impacts of certifying this budget are contained within the Standardized Accounting Code Structure (SACS) forms for the various funds. 

Superintendent's Recommendation:

That the Board authorize the district's positive certification of the Second Interim Budget Report for the period ending January 31, 2020.
