5.1  Authorize a Positive Certification of the First Interim Budget Report for Period Ending October 31, 2019  (Action)
 

Background Information:

During the fiscal year, there are two interim periods to review the budget; the first ending October 31, 2019 and the other ending January 31, 2020.  This report will certify that the Coronado Unified School District will be able to meet its financial obligations for the current fiscal year and two subsequent fiscal years.

 

 

SACS Form 01I (the report furnished to the State Department of Education).  This report includes a General Fund summary of revenues, expenditures, and changes in fund balance, attendance detail, and a cash flow projection for the balance of the fiscal year.

Financial Impact:
The financial impacts of certifying this budget are contained within the Standardized Accounting Code Structure (SACS) forms for the various funds.  

Superintendent's Recommendation:

That the Board authorize the District's Positive Certification of the First Period Interim Budget State Report for period ending October 31, 2019.
