			6.4 Approve the Agreement between the Coronado Unified School District (CUSD) and the California School Employees Association (CSEA), and approve related AB1200 disclosures (Action)

Background Information:

Representatives from the California School Employees Association (CSEA) and Coronado Unified School District (CUSD) met during the 2018-19 school year to discuss, clarify, and revise language contained within the Agreement between CSEA and CUSD.

In accordance with Government Code Section 3547.5 and AB1200, before a public school employer enters into a written agreement with an exclusive representative covering matters within the scope of representation, the major provisions of the agreement, including, but not limited to, the costs that would be incurred by the public school employer under the agreement for the current and subsequent fiscal years, shall be disclosed at a public meeting of the public school employer.

Reports:
The attached documents are presented in accordance with the requirements outlined in Government Code Section 3547.5 and AB1200. A summary of changes to the contract and detailed financial impacts are provided.

Financial Impact:
Annual costs associated with this agreement are estimated at $215,000 in 2019-20 and subsequent years.

Superintendent's Recommendation:

That the Board approve the Tentative Agreement between the Coronado Unified School District and California School Employees Association (CSEA).
